Opera of course shouldn't copy that quirk. If you do it from the chrome://downloads page, after you click "keep", a dialog will pop up with an error that has "keep anyway" that you can click. You have to do it from the download bar though. But, you can click the arrow next to it and choose "keep" to allow the download (without adding an insecure content override to the site's settings). When insecure content isn't allowed for a site by site settings, in Chrome's download bar, you'll get a "Can't be downloaded securely" error with only a "discard" button. Now that you’ve disabled your antivirus and firewall, launch Chrome and try to download your file. Click the network that says (active) and disable the Microsoft Defender Firewall toggle. ![]() Opera could have some UI for this similar to Chrome. To turn off your Windows firewall, head into Windows Security > Firewall & Network Protection. ![]() But, the better way is to allow insecure content for the site before you try to download. When this happens, after the download stops, you can goto your download folder and rename to todosTenYears.wav (Opera won't have a lock on the file) and you'll get your file (every byte of it).
